Inaugural General
Meeting
The Inaugural General Meeting was held
in December 2012.
The inaugural meeting of the Allotment Association took place in the Great Barton Village Hall in early December 2012 with a representative of the National Allotment Association who chaired the meeting. A Constitution was agreed and a committee elected to oversee the beginnings of an additional aspect to village life. The “Plot” had been allocated in Green Lane from Suffolk County Council and plans were in place to mark out and enclose the plot. The initial plans can be viewed below.
